Hair Transplant Post-Op Care
At Asian Hair Restoration Center, we provide detailed written and video instructions to help you heal well and minimize scarring. Your first post-op shampoo is done within 24 hours at the clinic for best results.
What to Expect:
Days 1–7: Mild swelling may occur (usually day 3–6). Small clots or scabs will form and flake off naturally. Redness fades within a week.
Week 3: Transplanted hairs may shed—this is normal and part of the growth cycle.
Months 2–6: New hair starts to grow. Early hairs are fine but will thicken over time. Bumps may appear as new hair pushes through.
By 1 Year: Final results are visible, and scars (if any) are minimal.
Your transplanted hair can be washed and styled like normal. Stitches from the donor area (if any) are removed after 14 days.
